  Adding hole to oil sump to drain seal (2).JPG - I drilled a similar hole in the inner lip of the sump to allow oil to escape. The mating ends of the two seals should allow the exchange of oil, while a new oil slinger will prevent the edges of seal from being constantly soaked.
