  Calculating shim reduction-1.jpg - The RH axle nut was torqued to 150 ft-lbs but it wouldn't line up with the safety cotter hole. At 14 tpi, it turns out that 1/12 turn was about .006 inches. I used 180 grit sandpaper and a flat surface to take that much off the axle nut spacer.
