The European Spitfire did not come with a Zenith-Stomberg CD150, instead it had a pair of HS4s with different floatbowls than the MGB for true vertical mounting. They also often have Waxstat jets meant for compensation of temperature. They can be restored with standard jets using a new bent linkage. Later Spitfire Carburetors included ball bearing suction chambers.
