Even though the car will 'never' be done (what fun would that be?) We consider it substantially done! The post restoration period has started, although a few projects left over, such as the cruise control, will overlap.

Driving and Fun The real fun begins. Sure, there are bugs to be worked out, from simple things like adjusting the interior door release on the driver's side and waiting for the radio that suffered an infant failure to be returned from the vendor, to move complicated things like installing the cruise control. We will try to document them here, along with the fun aspects driving Maggie. (21 Images)

Improving Wheel Balance We knew we wanted something besides the old octagonal knock-offs which either needed replacing or rechroming. A soft wrench is supplied with the knock-offs, but over time it seem likely that it damages the chrome. The answer is eared knock-offs supposedly outlawed because of danger to pedestrians. The tuning of the wire wheels was limited due to being unable to risk loosening all the spokes, so we mounted the best two for the rear, and picked up two new wheels for the front, along with four new Hankook tires.
