The suspension became part of the original 'Wire Wheel Conversion".
Front Suspension
The front suspension was loose, and I had never checked the preload on the front wheel bearings. Rebuild kits are inexpensive, and well worth installing if you are doing something as extensive as converting to wire wheels.

Rear Suspension
Maggie's rear spring height was always good, but the ride was a tad bouncy. I had the shocks rebuilt (actually, I just exchanged them with Peter Caldwell for a refurbished set) and refinished the springs. I also bought new mountings.
