32 | Actually, it was the plug for the transverse hole. The transverse hole is drilled to allow fuel in the float bowl to reach the carb inlet. This plug had worked loose and was leaking. Fortunately, I observed the bowl closely after lapping the mating surface and saw the fuel running from the plug area. I drove the plug home with a small drift and reinstalled the bowl. No more leak! | |
