  padding tob bow.jpg - Originally there was foam padding on the bottom of the rail where it interfaces with the top of the windscreen. I decided to use the polyester batting. It's water proof and will hold little moisture. The purpose is to help the fabric confrom to the top of the windscreen. The screws through the bottom of the metal rail into the wood protruded on the top side, and I filed the points off.
