| Finally time to tackle the panel. The goal is a digital autopilot, a modern GPS, fuel flow, new circuit breakers and a few other worthy goals, in a panel that respects the old Piano Key switches. The orginal plan was to have the panel done by May 2024, fly the plane to the cabin, and install the autopilot in December 2024 when we were back in Texas. But a broken knee in April slowed me down, making the project stretch out a staggering 15 months! |
