Tinning new starter cable.jpg - Tinning the end of the starter cable after I trimmed it. I bought this cable in case I couldn't fix the choke cable. Even though the starter cable is under tension and doesn't need a housing because it has a return spring, the cable housing was shortened too many times to really be acceptable. You just have to withdraw the cable, trim the housing with a dremel, cut the cable to the proper length, solder the tip and smooth with a dremel. Simple!
