50 | The front frame has a reinfocing lip built into it to stiffen it during door closing on the front edge and the bottom of the window frame. The lip interfers with the nuts. The easiest way to install them is to install the carriage bolts first, and then start the nut taking advantage of the play in the hole without the strip present to tilt and move the nut enough to clear the reinforcement. Leaving the nut loose, simply slip the strip into place, taking care not to let the tip catch the fabric. | |
