turn signal buzzer polarity reversed.jpg - Turn Signal Buzzer. This simple piezo buzzer (RadioShack #273-060) consumes 5mA at 12VDC, and has a sound pressure of 86dB at a foot. I added jumpers with a bullet which goes to the flasher P(anel terminal) and a ring terminal for the ground. I tested it before I installed the shrink wrap and surprise, it was polarity sensitive. I had to swap the wires for the positive ground system on the car. The idea here is that I didn't want to add a light to my instrument panel, but I wanted some indication of the turn signal operating, since the delay is pneumatic, not based on a cam in the steering.
