7 | The Moss Tonneau is designed so that it does not require fastners on the doors. The door flap will stay in place even while driving the car. Studs are placed by finding the location in the fabric where you wish to place a lift the dot fastner, and then punching through the fabric onto the body work with a center punch. The center punch can then be reapplied without the fabric, and finally a hole can be drilled. Drill a hole in the metal large enough to take the entire self tapping screw, and then drill a hole in the wood smaller in diameter for the screw threads to bite. | |
