Maggie's body is very straight with little rust. However, to do the proper "Green to Old English White" conversion, we will strip off most of the finish, rid panels of rust, use some body fill and high build primers and sand, sand, sand.

Engine Bay Tear Down The engine bay needs to go back together pretty much the way it came apart. So there are pictures. We also aren't going to leave it green while the rest of the car becomes white. (39 Images)	Tub All the parts of the car attach to the tub, instead of the tub riding on a chassis. This was the third unibody car MG designed, although the Midget was really a Sprite badging. The first was the Magnette from the mid 50's but Morris and company did that one... so this is the first MG in unit body form really. (59 Images)	Wings Why Wings? I mean, they're fenders, right? So anglophile of us! We did however early on decide not to remove the front wings as is common these rebuilds. We've never had cracking at the piping joint so we are going to paint in situ. (61 Images)	Bonnet and Boot Panels It would be rather gauche to leave the undersides of the boot lid and the bonnet green, don't you think? Plus, the bonnet has some hail dents in it. (64 Images)	Doors and Windows It is always nice to know how to reassemble the glass and the door hardware. But we will also install a mod to prevent the 'crack of doom' recurrence on the RH door, and from occuring on the Left. (103 Images)
Bumpers I hope the bumpers look good with the new paint... otherwise there is going to be some serious chroming. The 1970 MGB is unique as it is the only year with the split rear bumper. It makes up for the blacked out grille. (28 Images)	Trim The trim needs to also be taken off, straighten or replaced and reinstalled. (67 Images)	Paint Paint is so integral after fixing everything else that it deserved its own chapter. After all almost all the steps are uniform, and shouldn't be repeated ad nausium in the separate chapters of the Body section. (97 Images)	Prep for Assembly There is a lot to do in reassembly of the body and systems. Most of this will be discussed in the folders I used for the disassembly. But there are a few things that just need to be placed in a general location.
