  Proper location for tach cable bracket.jpg - The proper location of the small bracket which locates the tach cable. The screw coming through the firewall and the toe board is longer in this location and goes into a captive floating nut. The bracket, and then a washer and nut secure the bracket on the protruding threads of the bolt.
