14 | Two carpenter clamps and a board to spread the load allowed me to preload the force required to get the pump roller to go over the cam. This was something that Mike Hirschman suggested, although I'm not sure if this is the way he does it. Then one good rap with a hand sledge sent the OD housing home. Neither of us liked the Twist video of raising and dropping the OD in place. Although Twist also wggles the flange on the output which may cause a ramping action of the cam against the roller plunger and help bring it home. |
