The gearbox was staying in gear, and the synchros, while not perfect, were reasonable. I thought I would just clean it up a bit and peek inside. I found the front input shaft bearing was disinigrating. So I tore it down.

21 Rayon cord to raise layshaft and cluster gear	22 Needle bearings first motion shaft-1	23 Torquing mainshaft nut-1	24 Welded up rear gearbox support	25 Final rebuild
